Sacramental Minister

Fr. Bill celebrates Mass for us and hears confessions every weekend. Though officially "retired," he continues to serve, and we are so grateful that he willingly blesses us every week with his presence and ministry.

LAUREN WAGNER

Office Manager

Lauren manages all of the parish office communications, records, and schedules. Everything in the parish runs through her, and we are so grateful for all the time and effort she puts into this very important work.

Religious Education Coordinators

Our Coordinators of Religious Education are Patty Simon and Joyce Muckerheide. Patty (pictured on left with husband Gene), coordinates the catechists and program for Preschool through Grade 5; Joyce does the same for Grades 6 through 12. Working under the direction of our Parish Council, these women work tirelessly to ensure that the Catholic faith is faithfully handed down to our children.

Finance Committee is an appointed group of parishioners who crunch the numbers, establish the annual parish budget, and see that St. Maurice uses its resources responsibly and stays on track financially.
Members are pictured at a recent meeting: Rita Kress, Mary Bultman, Sister Shirley Gerth, Jenny Hardesty, Greg Kinker, Jack Ferkinhoff, and Paul Thole.

Maintenance Committee are the "chief stewards" of St. Maurice's parish property. Their work ensures us a good, safe place to gather as a community for worship, faith formation, and fellowship.
The Maintenance Committee members are Brian Horan, Daniel Harlemert, Ken Harmeyer, Ken Hellmich, Nick Simon, Dennis Wagner, and Mark Wagner.

Faith Formation Committee members are Carolyn Richards, Jack Ferkinhoff,  Ann Dicken, Caleb Payne, Marge Thole, Sister Shirley, Rosie Newhart, and Tara Johannigman. The Faith Formation Committee plans all spiritual and faith events and happenings in the parish including yearly themes and parish missions, and because no other committee is doing so, they also plan Santa visits, Easter egg hunts, and some social events.

Liturgy Committee members are: Sr. Shirley, Mark Wirth, Scott Simon, Jane Pictor, Dotty Hellmich and Amy Miller.  Together, they oversee all aspects of St. Maurice's worship environment:  from scheduling liturgies and devotions, selecting music that compliments the scripture readings at Mass,  and decorating church to reflect the liturgical season,  to taking care of the altar cloths, candles and vestments. The goal of the Liturgy Committee's work is to enhance the community's experience of worshiping God, and the fruit of their labor is seen every week in our joyful, spirited, beautiful Eucharistic celebrations.

Mary and Martha Circle is our women's organization at St. Maurice.  As the name implies, their aim is to serve the needs of others while also taking time to nourish our spiritual life; striving for balance between work, play and prayer. Currently led by President Arlene Gehl and Secretary Judy Steuri, our ladies work together for the good of our parish and community, and feminine camaraderie.
